M4H Photography Project 52

I have been a M4H fan for quite a while.

I have tons of her amazing actions to use on my photo's, which you have probably seen in them.

She has now come up with this amazing project and I just had to tag along!

She is so inspirational and to do this with her and many others should be fun!

Week 1 : Resolution

I could think of quite a few but one I really need to do is to finish Kate's first photo album and fill in year 2 and 3 adding pics too so I can move on to the next. I've been wanting to do it the past year, in my maternity leave and still haven't done it! While something like this is so precious, making memories!

A new year, a new beginning, a new chapter

Hi there peeps!

I have been neglecting you all badly, but I had a really good reason...

This is the reason

On November 17th 2011, after a speedy delivery and a week late our new miracle came to the world.

With a whopping 10lbs 11oc (4820gr) and 54cm, Dean Owen was born.

Tears of joy after a long wait and five butterflies.

To see our sweet daughter become a big sister, a roll she plays perfectly.

We could finally hold him, hug him and shower him with kisses and love

He does occupy me a lot, but I enjoy it. Even the rough-not-a-lot-of-sleep and why-is-he-crying moments. We are so grateful he chose to be part of our family!

We are gradually getting some kind of rythm back in our lives.

Slowly I can start picking up my scrapping and blogging.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend? Here the sun has been shining all weekend!

Glorius! Had a day out yesterday with my husbands work. It was a blast but left me tired today.

I have passed 37 weeks which means here in Holland that I can have my home delivery if I can!

So exciting! When will he make his grand appearence?

Some news is that I applied for Lisa Sisneros CT call a while back. She decided to keep to one store and I had some room for 1 ct. So I applied and got the job!!! WOOT! Als Dunia asked me to guest for her up till december and I accepted too. I did let the ladies know that I could be absent for a while due to my baby on the way.

I have picked up an old hobby!

I used to try knitting next to crossstitching but didn't have the patience at that time.

Now I do! I have the urge to knit LOL!

I searched for patterns and came across Etsy.com. Bought me some patterns to start off with.

Went to the local hobby store and got me some knitting supplies and wool. Also orderd some fab woll form the UK!

We are looking for New Talents for our Heaven. Right now we give you a chance to join our Fantastic team as a Guest.

Requirements:

7th Heaven is looking for High Quality designs ( ladies who already sale products - only ladies who already sale products )
Designers are required to promote themselves ( Blog, Forum, DST, MSA and other sites )
Be active on 7th Heaven forum.
2 - 4 Products per month ( CU, PU, QP, Kits, Mini Kits etc )
Join to collaborations projects and 7th Heaven games.
Girls who can comunicate in English and be chatty on the Forum ( important part )

Hiya everyone!

Had a rough week behind me. Caught a stomach bug that went bad.

But thankfully the tests today were more positive and now it's time to gain my strength again. Everything goes to the baby first and then to me, but I got a sweet

Hi there peeps! Sorry I'm such a low profile these days. I'm not so nauseous anymore but majorly tired and sluggish and have a hard time keeping up here and there and my mojo comes and goes frequently :(
I have also cut back on a few CT sadly :( But I want to give my fullest to them, if I can't then I'd rather make room for another lucky gal to have fun!

We recently had a fun-ultrasound and found out the sex of the baby!!! We are so in love!

The baby was also in a good position for some 3D photo's of it's face! Amazing!

I am almost half way there. In a little 2 weeks time we have the medical 20 week echo and we are hoping all is well. But I won't be at ease until I have the little one in my arms!

What is the sex? Keep an eye out, I might scrap about it ;)

I hope you all are having a FABULOUS easter!

We are! A few things we did this weekend:

I'm slowly getting my pace back and catching up on my CT business.
Which I'm glad for with iNSD around the corner!!
So I'll be back with some updates during the week!

My pregnancy is going well. I've entered the 11th week.
The second echo was good. The baby is a busy one, just like it's big sister!
But still keeps mummy pretty nauseous and therefor still on heavy meds *sad*.
But I hope I'm almost there and can throuw the meds out and hopefully be more
energetic before my tummy slows me down hihihi.

Reason for being absent

Hi peeps!

Sorry you haven't had much to look at on my blog the past month or two.

I'm not feeling quite well but I have a really good reason for that!

After the past year and a bit, 5 miscarriages and an emotional rollercoaster..

on March 28th we got to see something amazing!!

Our new miracle! We saw the baby almost immediatly and even heard the heart beat load and strong!

Everything looked perfect and we aer now passed on to the midwifes.

My next checkup with echo is on April the 18th. I will be 10 weeks and 3 days then.

At the moment I am very nausea and I am on meds. The first type didn't help a lot, just to keep my foods down. The second is helping better but I'm having side effects issuses and I am tired all day long too :(

My CT duties are on a low pit and I am missing them badly! I can't wait to scrap about this little wonder inside of me and how my DD reacts to it all!!

I hope to be up and about soon!

First 7th Collab special one too

We all dream of building our own nest. We're looking for a house where our family will feel safe. We're doing everything we can to know that we have a place to come home to.

What if in a single moment all this would turn to dust? What happened to Heather Manning really saddens us. When we learned that her house burned down and she and her family have lost everything to the fire, our sadness was indescribable. Sorry it has been a little quiet lately.

I have had some personal things that needed attention to.

I'm hoping I am back on track now!

Helping Hands charity collab!!!!

Recently I heard so very sad news..

A CT colleague, Marnel (Mary), has recently lost her 17 yr. old daughter Charlie due to a fluke seizure and her heart stopped causing cardiac arrest. After 4 days in hospital she lost the battle...

We are all saddened by this tragic news and wanted to help Mary out in any way we could.

Some of the best {digital scrapbooking} designers have come together to create a collab to help our dear friend cover the cost of her Daughters hospital bills and funeral.

Heyhey just a quick post before I go to bed.

It has been a hectic but FUN weekend.

Kate has had fun and recieved lots of great gifts!!!

I will hopefully be back in the week with some pics!

But just saw I got a GSO at SPD and that topped my night off and wanted to share!!

Kate's Birthday and new stuff!!!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY my sweet CUPCAKE!!!!

At the time of posting this (14.33) Paul and I where soaking in every inch of our first child.

Kate was born 24th September at 14.15 2008.

And now she's turned two! TWO! oh my gosh how time flies by!!

She takes after my character when I was young. From one side a funny thing to witness, because I can see what mischief I got up to hihihi.. but from another side I understand why mum went grey early hahaha.

We bought her the IKEA kids kitchen (mum and dad got her the top part) and she loves it!

Crazed on the balloons too =P

I took her swimming this morning and now she's having her nap. If the weather stays dry I want to take her to the petting zoo this afternoon.

Her party is being held on sunday :D

And a forum friend of mine is making Kate her cake and cupcakes!

I Heart Faces - "Smirk"

This week's photo challenge is all about "Smirk"

I have tons of smirk photo's and found it really hard to pick one!

I decided to go for this one of Kate.

I processed it with M4H's matchstick action and added a lighting to it.

I also blurred the background and highlighted the smirk.
